Responsible Purchasing
Responsible sourcing is at the core of everything we do. Whether your or you’re clients are working on construction, joinery, or fit-out projects, you can trust that all of our products are sourced with integrity backed by rigorous due diligence and recognised certification.
We operate robust due diligence procedures to ensure all plywood products and doorset systems we supply are legally harvested, ethically sourced, and fully compliant with all global timber regulations.
As a proud member of Timber Development UK, we align our processes with industry best practice and government guidance. Our systems are designed to meet and exceed the requirements of the UK Timber Regulations, helping to prevent illegal timber from entering the supply chain.
Responsible Purchasing
We follow the principles of the TDUK Responsible Purchasing Policy, ensuring that every supplier is carefully assessed and monitored.
Working with Track Record Global our due diligence process includes:
- Comprehensive supplier verification
- Risk assessment based on country of origin
- Documentation checks for legality and traceability
- Ongoing supplier performance reviews
- Regular supplier visits
- Species testing
This structured approach allows us to confidently provide plywood products that meet both regulatory and customer expectations.
Certified Sustainable Timber
We are committed to promoting sustainable forest management through globally recognised certification schemes, including:
- Forest Stewardship Council (FSC®)
- Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC™)
All of our certified products are supplied with full chain-of-custody certification, ensuring materials can be traced from responsibly managed forests and plantations, through the manufacturing process and right to the end user.
Transparency and Traceability
Working with Track Record Global, we maintain clear and transparent records throughout our supply chain. This enables us to:
- Demonstrate full compliance with UK and international timber regulations
- Provide certification documentation on request, including geo-location data
- Support customers with their own sustainability and compliance obligations
Continuous Improvement
We regularly review and update our policies to reflect changes in legislation, certification standards, and industry best practice. Through our partnership with Timber Development UK and engagement with certification bodies, we remain at the forefront of responsible timber sourcing.
