September 18, 2014

Effective since 3 March 2013 this legislation stops the circulation of illegally logged wood in the European Union. It is one of the most important pieces of legislation governing our industry to come into effect in recent years.

Under the EUTR, placing illegally harvested timber and products derived from such timber on the EU market is prohibited. The Regulation applies to wood and wood products being placed for the first time onto the EU market.
